Paul’s Place is a nonprofit organization in Southwest Baltimore dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families facing poverty. Through programs like hot meal service, clothing distribution, case management, job readiness, and health services, they provide both immediate relief and long-term support. The organization focuses on building stability, dignity, and hope for community members while addressing the root causes of poverty through empowerment and connection. Paul’s Place also runs enrichment programs, workforce development classes, and outreach initiatives that help residents gain skills and independence. Charities MUST be a 501(c)(3) non-profit OR an organization that is able to collect tax-deductible donations to participate. Winning charities will also be required to sign a photo release form. When thinking about nominations, we encourage you to consider the following factors:
